Short Takes: IBJ Whitehall Fills New Marketing VP Post

IBJ Whitehall Asset Management Group, the asset management arm of IBJ Whitehall Financial Group, has hired a senior vice president of marketing, a new position.

Joseph E. Breslin, 46, joined the New York-based company from early this month.

He came from Spears, Benzak, Salomon & Farrell, where he had a variety of positions, including president of SBSF Funds.

His responsibilities at IBJ Whitehall include sales and marketing to high-net-worth-individuals. IBJ Whitehall Asset Management Group, which focuses on investment management for such people and for institutions, manages more than $8 billion of assets.
