In Brief: Service to Send Foreign Currencies Overnight

Chase Manhattan Bank has launched a Web site service that accepts orders for foreign currencies and delivers the them next day.

The Currency to Go service delivers 75 currencies and travelers checks with no fees or commissions. Orders can be placed on-line or by telephone.

The Web site, www.currency-to-go.com, displays real-time exchange rates and features a currency conversion calculator. Users can pay for the currency by credit card, and Chase customers have the added option of paying by a debit to a deposit account. Home delivery is free for orders over $500; below that amount a $10 shipping fee will be charged to the customer.
