PricewaterhouseCoopers Securities Promotes 3 to Managing Director

subsidiary of PricewaterhouseCoopers, has promoted Annemarie T. Schovee, Charles H. Johnson, and John F. Patek to managing directorships. All three focus on clients in the consumer and industrial products industries.

Ms. Schovee and Mr. Johnson are based in PricewaterhouseCoopers' Tysons Corner, Va., office.

Ms. Schovee, 42, helps clients through mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, and financings. She came to the firm in 1995 from NationsBank, where she was a senior vice president. She has 20 years of corporate finance experience.

Mr. Johnson, 37, leads the middle-market investment banking group. He joined the firm in 1995 and has 14 years of diversified corporate finance experience.

Mr. Patek is based in PricewaterhouseCoopers' Chicago office, where he initiates, arranges, and executes capital raising transactions and handles mergers, acquisitions, and buyouts. Mr. Patek, 45, came to the firm in 1995 from Bank of America, in whose private placement group he was a managing director. Earlier he worked in the investment banking division of Prudential Securities.

PricewaterhouseCoopers Securities has also hired Janet A. Ozarchuk as a vice president in its health-care division, Shattuck Hammond Partners.

Ms. Ozarchuk, 43, will focus on trading, underwritings, and syndications and will coordinate Shattuck Hammond's interest rate swap, derivative product, and reinvestment activities in the New York office. She came from Credit Suisse First Boston, where she worked briefly as a director. Earlier she worked eight years at Merrill Lynch & Co.
