Flushing (N.Y.) Savings Bank Names Executives

Flushing (N.Y.) Savings Bank has hired James E. Peterson as vice president of small-business lending of its New York Federal division.

The division was formed after Flushing bought New York Federal Savings Bank in October 1997.

Mr. Peterson was a vice president at Long Island Savings Bank of Syosset, N.Y. Earlier he worked at AT&T Capital Corp. and spent 21 years at the National Westminster Bank USA, which Fleet Bank bought in 1996.

Flushing Savings Bank is a $1.2 billion-asset subsidiary of Flushing Financial Corp.
