Cards Briefs: Huntington ATMs Set For Hess Stores in Fla.

Amerada Hess Corp. has chosen Huntington National Bank to put automated teller machines in its 120 convenience stores in Florida.

The machines are scheduled to be installed by December. Customers of Huntington -- a subsidiary of Huntington Bancshares Inc. of Columbus, Ohio -- will not incur transaction fees.

Huntington said it has invested $16 million in ATM technology in Florida in the past three years and has machines at 450 sites. It has signed deals with SeaWorld Orlando, Busch Gardens in Tampa, Walgreen's, Kennedy Space Center, and the University of Central Florida.

The bank operates 124 offices in Florida with $4 billion of deposits.
