Short Takes: Scudder Kemper Adds A Risk-Tolerance Test

Scudder Kemper Retirement Services of Boston has added a risk-tolerance quiz to its Web site.

The eight-question test asks investors how they would react under conditions such as a significant drop or gain in the stock market.

Investors are identified as conservative, moderate, or aggressive on the basis of their answers and their age. A chart gives sample asset allocations for the various categories.

Scudder Kemper Retirement Services manages $13 billion of retirement assets. It is a unit of Scudder Kemper Investments Inc., which manages more than $280 billion of assets and is owned by Zurich Financial Services Group of Switzerland.
