A.T. Kearney Executive Search, Stamford, Conn., has hired Irene Latino to be a vice president and member of its financial institutions group and its media and entertainment practice.

Ms. Latino has 20 years' executive search experience, most recently as managing director at J. Dinerstein, a specialized financial executive search firm in New York. There she recruited candidates for private equity investment firms and Internet start-up companies.

She has also specialized in executive recruitment in financial services, investment banking, and information technology and worked for the former Ward Howell search firm, now LAI Worldwide Inc., in Los Angeles.

The Connecticut search firm is a division of A.T. Kearney Inc.

Warburg Dillon Read, the investment banking division of UBS AG in Zurich, has hired Anthony B. Zehnder to head corporate communications for the Americas, a new post.

He was also elected executive director of the investment firm's office in Stamford, Conn.

Mr. Zehnder has headed media relations, advertising, marketing, and corporate events at General Electric Co. and Kidder, Peabody Inc. and he will have the same duties at Warburg Dillon Read. He also was acting director of corporate public relations and advertising at GE Capital Services from 1992 to 1997.

Still earlier, Mr. Zehnder directed corporate communications at Shawmut National Corp. in Hartford, Conn., before it was bought by Fleet Financial Group.
