National Penn Names Executive

MIDDLE ATLANTIC

National Penn Bancshares of Boyertown, Pa., has named Glenn E. Moyer, who was president and CEO of a bank it bought Monday, as chief lending officer.

He succeeded Garry D. Koch, who remains chief credit officer.

Mr. Moyer was also named an executive vice president of National Penn. He remains president of the newly acquired Elverson (Pa.) National Bank, which operates in Chester and Lancaster counties, and was named president of National Penn Bank's operations in Berks and Montgomery counties.

National Penn Bancshares has $2.1 billion of assets.
