National Penn Bancshares of Boyertown, Pa., has named Glenn E. Moyer,
He succeeded Garry D. Koch, who remains chief credit officer.
Mr. Moyer was also named an executive vice president of National Penn.
National Penn Bancshares has $2.1 billion of assets.
The Cleveland-based bank is projecting steady growth in net interest income even as credit losses remain manageable. But Chairman and CEO Chris Gorman also said that he thinks a recession is likely.
