Tech Bytes: Chase to Use FTI System for Pension Reports

Chase Manhattan Bank's global investor services division has selected software from Financial Technologies Inc. to provide enhanced reporting to pension clients.

The division will use FTI's Investran private equity and real estate management software to track the private equity investments of its clients. A spreadsheet will let fund managers perform ad hoc data analysis.

With $5.2 trillion of assets under custody, the global investor services division, part of Chase Global Services, is one of the world's largest providers of custody and related services.
