Hibernia National Bank Names Executive

SOUTHEAST

Hibernia National Bank in New Orleans has promoted Linda R. Gotwals to vice president and hired Jerry D. Barquin at that rank.

Ms. Gotwals is in the corporate education department, where she supervises regional trainers and continuing-education programs for the bank's employees and those of its merger partners. She has 32 years' banking experience.

Mr. Barquin is responsible for the management of Hibernia's inbound telebanking department. He has 15 years' banking experience, most recently as a vice president at Texas Commerce Bank.

Hibernia also promoted two people to assistant vice president and hired two at that rank.

Steven A. Larmann and Sheri D. Mullen got the promotions. Mr. Larmann manages the direct and community lending collections departments and oversees administration of the computerized collection system. Ms. Mullen, who was a bank officer, is responsible for closing commercial equipment leases.

Angela Diez and Laurie Vignaud Marshall are the newly hired assistant vice presidents.
