In Brief: Cybersource Names Chief of Operations

Former Visa International official Eric Wun has joined Cybersource Corp. as vice president of operations.

Reporting to Bill McKiernan, chairman and chief executive officer of the electronic commerce processing and services company, Mr. Wun is responsible for strategy and architecture for worldwide operations and day-to-day management of production centers.

Mr. McKiernan said the appointment reflects Cybersource's commitment to building "a top-notch executive team with proven experience."

Mr. Wun said Cybersource "has a great position in the market and has raised the bar on providing mission-critical reliability for payment processing and fraud scoring, in addition to all aspects of the e-commerce transaction process. It is exciting to join a world-class management team and be a part of the company's rapid growth and expansion."

Mr. Wun held several positions at Visa, including data center vice president and VisaNet project manager. More recently he was vice president of operations at both Zip2 Corp. and a start-up called Corio.
