In Brief: Microsoft Network to Add Credit Service

Microsoft Network said it will add to its Internet-based small-business offerings the CreditFYI service developed by netearnings, a transaction services provider, and Fair, Isaac & Co.

CreditFYI delivers instant business credit reports over the Internet, giving businesses with less than $5 million of sales the ability to make faster and more informed decisions about credit extensions to business customers.

Michael Grossman, president and chief executive officer of netearnings in Burlingame, Calif., said, "Our presence on MSN is instrumental to increasing CreditFYI's visibility, making the service more easily accessible to the small-business market, and increasing awareness of its numerous benefits."

Latimer Asch, vice president of commercial markets at Fair, Isaac, said, "Combining the simple, straightforward interface to CreditFYI with the vast network of MSN makes it as easy as a click of a mouse for more business owners to make informed decisions about the creditworthiness of the small businesses they serve."
