The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago Names Executive

The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago has promoted Barbara Benson to lead human resource services.

Ms. Benson, who remains a vice president, worked in the supervision and regulation department. She joined the bank in 1980 as a safety and soundness examiner and became an examining officer in supervision and regulation in 1987.

As head of human resource services she succeeded Thomas Ciesielski, a vice president. He recently assumed responsibility for the automated clearing house, Chicago check adjustment operations, and electronic financial services.
