Tokioka Succeeds To Presidency of CB Bancshares In Honolulu

CB Bancshares in Honolulu has elected Lionel Y. Tokioka as chairman.

He has been a director since 1994. That is when CB bought International Savings and Loan Association, of which he was chief executive officer.

He will now be chairman of the thrift and of CB's City Bank. Both are based in Honolulu.

Mr. Tokioka, who has 40 years of banking experience, succeeded James H. Kamo in the chairmanships. Mr. Kamo remains corporate secretary of $1.4 billion-asset CB Bancshares.
