Short Takes: President of Hibernia's Brokerage Resigns

Anthony P. Psilos has resigned as president of Hibernia National Bank's brokerage subsidiary.

Mr. Psilos, who left Dec. 31, had been with Hibernia Investment Securities Inc. of New Orleans since 1993.

Without elaborating, a spokesman for $13.3 billion-asset Hibernia said Mr. Psilos "left to pursue other opportunities." The bank will name an interim president while looking for a successor, the spokesman said. Mr. Psilos could not be reached for comment.
