Open Solutions Buys Weiland Financial

Open Solutions Inc. said Monday that it has acquired Weiland Financial Group Inc., a Bannockburn, Ill., provider of account management software.

The banking technology vendor, said it plans to integrate Weiland Financial's technology into its own software, though it will continue to offer them as stand-alone products.

Banks and other businesses use Weiland Financial's products to evaluate spending habits and transaction fees.

Open Solutions, of Glastonbury, Conn., did not disclose the acquisition price.
