CNB Financial Corp. in Clearfield, Pa., said Tuesday that Charles R. Guarino had resigned as the company's treasurer and principal financial officer.

The company said in a regulatory filing that it would search for a replacement for Guarino, who was also the chief financial officer for its CNB Bank. The $1.5 billion-asset company said that its board had appointed Brian W. Wingard, 37, to succeed Guarino on an interim basis.

The filing said that the company and Guarino had "mutually agreed" to the departure but did not list a reason.

Wingard has been an assistant vice president and controller for the company since November 2007. He previously worked as a certified public accountant in the public practice at Parente Randolph LLC.
