The Monrovia, Calif., company said it earned 33 cents per share in the fourth quarter, compared to 18 cents per share a year earlier, on the basis of generally accepted accounting principles. Operating revenues rose 30% from a year earlier, to $119.7 million.
Green Dot also said in a press release that it had extended multi-year exclusive distribution contracts with Rite-Aid and Kmart, "which call for expanded and more prominent in-store placement of Green Dot's" cards.
