Bank Holding Company Deploys Mobile Banking, Bill Pay for Six Brands

Dickinson Financial Corp., a $2.1 billion bank holding company, announced Monday the launch of mobile banking and bill payment capabilities. The Kansas City, Mo.-based company is using Mobiliti from Fiserv Inc. (FISV) to offer the mobile features to its bank portfolio through a single platform. The aim is to bring all six of Dickinson's FI brands live on mobile concurrently. Armed Forces Bank, Academy Bank, Sun Bank and Southern Commerce Bank are some of the brands in Dickinson's portfolio.

Mobiliti integrates with each bank's account processing and online banking platforms, while Dickinson hosts the solution within its data center, said Fiserv in an announcement issued Monday.

Though branding will be different across the FI brands, the functionality will be similar. With the new mobile offering, bank customers can check their balances, locate branches and ATMs, pay bills, transfer funds and deposit checks by using their camera-equipped smartphones. Customers can access their financial information through text messaging, mobile browser and downloadable Android, iPhone or Blackberry apps.
