InComm Inc. announced Monday that it bought Medagate Corp., a health care benefits services company.

The Atlanta prepaid card distributor is buying Medagate for its health-care benefits payment platform, OTCNetwork.

All of Medagate's employees will remain with the company and its management team will stay in place, InComm said in a press release Monday. It did not disclose the price of the acquisition.

In January 2010, Medagate, of Redwood, Calif., began working with InComm to develop its OTCNetwork.

"Beginning with the launch of the OTCNetwork in 2010, it was apparent that InComm was uniquely qualified to bring our platform to market," says Devin Wade, Medagate's chief executive, in a press release. "InComm gives Medagate the opportunity to build on what we have started and create a new generation of benefit and wellness tools for health plans."
