JPMorgan Chase on Monday reiterated its support of the Isis mobile wallet,
JPMorgan originally said in February 2012 that it was working with Isis, a joint venture of AT&T Inc., T-Mobile USA and Verizon Wireless. The partnership gives Chase customers the chance to make tap and go payments using near-field-communication-enabled smartphones.
The technology relies on special SIM cards. Isis has been testing its mobile wallet in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Austin, Texas.
"Based on the positive results in Austin and Salt Lake, we are pleased to expand our relationship with Isis and provide Chase cardholders nationwide with another quick, convenient and secure way to use their credit cards for everyday spending while on-the-go," Richard Quigley, Chase's president of card services, said in a press release.
