NatWest Debuts a Windows Phone 8 App

NatWest, a member of the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), has released an app for the Windows Phone 8 platform.

Features of NatWest's app, which went live on the Windows Store Monday, include: view transaction history, pay bills or people, transfer funds, find the nearest cash machine or local branch, and get cash from NatWest, RBS or Tesco cash machines with a secure cash code, without the need for a credit card.

To use the NatWest app, customers must first have online banking accounts with the bank.

The service, which works for Windows Phone 8 and 7.5, is only available in England and Wales.

JPMorgan Chase and Bank of America are among the U.S. banks that offer apps for Windows Phone 8.
