TD Bank was the victim of a cyberattack this morning that rendered its mobile banking and online banking systems inoperable, a spokesperson confirmed. The bank said no customer information was affected.

Customers of the Toronto-based bank holding company took to Twitter to complain of the hour-long outage that affected both TD Bank and TD Waterhouse, which provides brokerage and investor services to customers.

The TD Bank incident follows recent confirmed attacks against JPMorgan Chase (JPM) and BB&T (BBT), which both suffered similar outages of their online banking systems.

Another attack widely reported yesterday shut down the online banking, ATMs and some internal systems of two of South Korea's biggest banks.
