Community Partners in New Jersey to Become Two River Bancorp

Community Partners Bancorp (CPBC) in Tinton Falls, N.J. is getting a new name.

The $735.6 million-asset parent of Two River Community Bank said Wednesday that it will change its name on June 28 to Two River Bancorp. The company's stock symbol will also change, to TRCB.

The new moniker would boost "brand recognition" and "create greater awareness of the company and its business," William Moss, Community Partners' chief executive, said in a press release.

Two River Community Bank has 16 branches and four loan production offices in northern New Jersey. The bank expects to open a fifth loan office on Monday in Piscataway, N.J.

Community Partners' first-quarter earnings 4% from a year earlier, to $1.1 million.
