Banking technology firm SunGard has rolled out an ATM and card reconciliation system.
The new IntelliMatch Operational Control software suite is designed to help banks manage ATM and point-of-sale transactions. It helps banks implement matching and reconciliation software and consolidate infrastructure and processes, SunGard said.
"As the volume of card activity across ATMs and point of sale devices increases, timely and accurate validation of transactions can become more costly, risky and prone to error," said Richard Chapman, director of product management for IntelliMatch. "Reconciliation, process automation and the timely identification of anomalies and exceptions are vital to help ensure better risk management and reduce operational costs."
