Two customers of Standard Chartered are taking the phrase "banking anytime, anywhere" to new heights.

Horacio Galanti and Horacio Cunietti made use of Standard Chartered's mobile app, Breeze Trade, at the Mount Everest South Base Camp, the international banking group announced Wednesday. There, at 5,364 meters, the men conducted a stock trade. The mountaineers plan to use the financial services app more as they continue on their Himalayan expedition. They hope to earn a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records for making mobile banking transactions at high altitude.

Breeze Trade lets customers view market indices, create stock watch list, access market news, and buy and sell Hong Kong stocks, among other things.
