Dominic Venturo, chief innovation officer for payments at U.S. Bank, talks about the value of real-time text alerts to mobile banking customers, and about how his company is taking what it has learned about mobile banking and applying those lessons to its prepaid business, which late last year introduced the first mobile app of its kind.
Venturo speaks at the 5th Annual Mobile Banking & Emerging Applications Summit, sponsored by American Banker sister publication Bank Technology News, which during the conference presented Venturo with its first Mobile Banker of the Year award.
