A decade ago, American Banker published its first list of the 25 Most Powerful Women in Banking. Since then, the initiative has been expanded to include lists of the 25 Women to Watch, the 25 Most Powerful Women in Finance and the Top Teams (honoring firms that lead the way in promoting women and driving performance at women-led divisions).
On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of our program, it is my pleasure to invite applications to our 2012 rankings. If you wish to nominate someone to the list, please encourage her to visit our site and complete an application. We are accepting applications through June 1, 2012. This is an earlier deadline than in years past, and we appreciate your cooperation in assuring that all applications are submitted in a timely manner.
The rankings, selected by American Banker, will be published in the October 2012 issue of American Banker Magazine, and the honorees will be celebrated at a black-tie gala in New York on Oct. 16.
