Argentine Federal in Kansas Names McWherter CEO

Argentine Federal Savings in Kansas City, Kan., has named Roger McWherter chief executive.

McWherter replaces Mark Reilly, who retired in July as CEO of the $51 million-asset mutual thrift, the Kansas City Business Journal reported. Reilly had held the position for 26 years, according to a company spokesman.

McWherter was previously Argentine's chief financial officer. He joined the bank in 2008, after working for International Mortgage Corp. in Leawood, Kan.

Argentine this week also named Jeannie Ouderkirk treasurer.
