TCF Financial in Wayzata, Minn., has hired R. Patricia Kelly as its managing director of commercial banking. Kelly joins the $20 billion-asset company from Chicago Corp., where she oversaw the investment bank's financial institutions and real estate units.

County Bancorp in Manitowoc, Wis., has selected former Kimberly-Clark executive Kathi Seifert to be a director.
Seifert will join the board of the $845 million-asset Investors Community Bank in January. She will also be nominated to the board of County Bancorp at its annual meeting next year.
Seifert is currently president and owner of consulting firm Katapult in Neenah, Wis. Previously, she was an executive vice president at Kimberly-Clark, where she led its personal care businessand sales organization. She has also held executive positions at Fort Howard Paper and Beatrice Foods.
Seifert is also a director of Eli Lilly and Lexmark, and she has previously been a director of Revlon, Supervalu and Albertsons.
