Home Financial Retains Outside Firm After CFO's Death

Home Financial Bancorp in Spencer, Ind., has hired a consulting firm after the unexpected death of its chief financial officer.

The $67 million-asset company said in a press release Gary Monnett, who had also been a director, died last week. He was 55. Home hired Cross Financial Services, an accounting, consulting and investing firm in Franklin, Ind., to take over Monnett's duties on an interim basis.

Home is the parent company of Our Community Bank. It has one branch.
