JPM Names New Small-Business Banking Chief

JPMorgan Chase has named Jennifer Piepszak as the chief executive of its business-banking division that focuses on firms with revenue of $20 million and below.

Piepszak most recently served as the division's head of national sales. She has held several senior-level roles within JPMorgan's investment and mortgage banking departments since joining the company 21 years ago.

She succeeds Scott Geller, who will move to the company's commercial banking office as head of industry specialization for middle-market banking. Geller has worked at JPMorgan since 1986.

"This transition helps us leverage the entire firm's resources and expertise to help American businesses succeed," Gordon Smith, JPMorgan Chase's CEO of consumer and community banking, said in a press release Tuesday.
