Ex-Citi, UBS Banker Joins Proskauer in New York

The law firm Proskauer Rose has lured a veteran lawyer/investment banker from UBS.

Robin Feiner has joined the global law firm as a senior counsel in New York, where she will be responsible for advising clients of the firm's capital markets group, the firm announced Friday.

Since September 2009 Feiner served as an executive director of equity capital markets at UBS, where she handled initial public offerings and other deals on behalf of financial institutions and other companies representing a range of industries.

Feiner previously served for roughly nine years as a director of equity capital markets at Citigroup (NYSE:C), which she joined in January 2000 after six years as an attorney at the law firm of Morgan Lewis.

Proskauer Rose is a New York law firm that represents businesses in a range of industries. The nearly 140-year-old firm has offices in 13 cities worldwide.

Frank Lopez, co-head of Proskauer Rose's global capital markets group, said in a press release that Feiner's "stellar reputation with top-tier investment banks and ability to deliver best-in-class execution with leading knowledge of legal practices and industry trends will serve our clients well in meeting their IPO and other complex equity transaction needs."
