Center Bancorp (CNBC) in Union, N.J., could be looking for a new chief financial officer.
The $1.6 billion-asset company said Thursday that Vincent Tozzi will also resign on May 31 as treasurer to pursue another opportunity. Francis Patryn, who has been the company’s comptroller since 1997, will become interim CFO.
Patryn "has been a valued member of the bank management team for the past 15-plus years, and we wish him success in his new position," Anthony Weagley, Center's president and chief executive, said in a press release.
On Monday, Center named Rona Korman to the newly created position of general counsel.
