Discover Asks Fans to Huddle Up for College Football Poll


Discover wants to know if you Go Blue or swim with the Crimson Tide.

The credit card company, which is the title sponsor of the 2013 Orange Bowl and BCS National Championship Game, is unveiling a 15-week poll for college football fans to "find out which school truly has the most loyal fans in America," it said in a press release Thursday, the kickoff day for college football season.

Discover will survey more than 1,000 people who watch or read about games at least once a week, asking a variety of questions to gauge which are most true to their school.

Some responses will require careful thought. One example: "If you found out your team was playing its bitterest rival on your wedding day, would you change the date, change the time, keep the time but have the game broadcast during the reception, or go ahead as planned?"

The poll results will be published weekly.
