Docking Bancshares in Arkansas City, Kan., has appointed a new chief financial officer.
David Marshall is executive vice president and CFO of Docking and Union State Bank, its $241 million-asset subsidiary, the company announced Friday. He joined the company in April to succeed Mark Horning, who is retiring.
Marshall joined Union State Bank from Sunflower Bank in Salina, Kan., where he had been vice president and controller since 2008. Earlier, he was the CFO for Members Mortgage Services, the mortgage-banking arm of Hutchinson Credit Union in Hutchinson, Kan.
Marshall "not only understands the intricacies of managing a financial institution, but has a unique perspective into the operations of our business clients," said Eric Kurtz, Union State's corporate president, in the news release.
Docking Bancshares is also the parent of the City National Bank and Trust Co. of Guymon, Texas, which has $177 million of assets.
