NFC Provider Proxama Adds Two New Execs

Proxama has a hired Ron Carter and Louise Thompson to senior management positions, the British technology firm said.

Carter joins Proxama as senior product manager responsible for the development of its mobile-wallets business. Before joining Proxama, Carter led MasterCard Worldwide's development and deployment of Mobile MasterCard PayPass, MasterCard's mobile phone contactless-payment service.

Thompson joins Proxama as its client services manager. She is responsible for managing client relationships and delivering near field communication marketing projects.

For the past four years, she worked at advertising agency Euro RSCG Riley in London.

Proxama, which is basded in London, provides NFC mobile-wallet and mobile-marketing technology.
