Jack Lew Takes on Capitol Hill

President Obama's nominee for Treasury Secretary, Jacob Lew, calmly fielded three hours of sometimes hostile questions during a Wednesday hearing on Capitol Hill. The former White House chief of staff appeared to successfully fend off barbs relating to his involvement as a senior Citigroup executive with funds that failed, large departure bonus and investment in Cayman Island-based fund. Lew also shed light on his little-known views on banking, including issues like Dodd-Frank, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and how to support community banks.
