Kellee Irwin

VP, Personal Insurance

Kellee Irwin is the VP of Personal Insurance at ICBC – a Crown corporation in British Columbia that provides mandatory basic insurance and optional additional insurance to all drivers in BC. Her division creates the rates that BC drivers pay for both and the products that deliver them. She recently celebrated her 5th anniversary with ICBC, after starting in 2006 as the first VP of Underwriting. In her current role, she leads ICBC in redefining their pricing and product strategy by moving to a more driver-based model vs. vehicle-based. She also leads Vehicle Registration and Licensing on behalf of the province. Irwin gained her knowledge and experience through progressively senior roles in different insurance companies. She has been an avid motorcyclist since she was five years old, growing up in her dad’s family motorcycle shop. An active volunteer, Irwin is the President of the Canadian Heritage Motorcycle Museum Foundation and a board member of the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA) and the BC chapter of the Women in Insurance Cancer Crusade (WICC BC). This past winter, Irwin became a Mountain Safety ski volunteer at Whistler Blackcomb – patrolling, and enjoying, the slopes every Saturday!
