Scott M. Shean is a commissioned National Bank Examiner (NBE) for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).� Scott joined the OCC in 1987 as an Assistant National Bank Examiner in the Los Angeles Field Office, and transferred to the Miami Field Office in 2004.�Throughout his OCC career, Scott�s examination duties have varied widely.� He now most often serves as the Examiner-in-Charge (EIC), or leads up the review of asset quality, at examinations in community banks in South Florida.� He regularly assists on credit-related assignments in mid-size and large banks, including the review of Shared National Credits in New York City.� He has served part-time roles on the OCC�s resident commercial credit teams at Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Union Bank of California, and mid-size banks in California.�Scott graduated from Washington State University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a specialty in Finance.
