With “execution” as her brand, Amala Duggirala has led several large-scale and complex transformations at CenturyLink, British Telcom, and ACI Worldwide. Amala’s leadership and results come from her innovative approach in transforming strategy into results at large corporations.

Amala Duggirala serves as the Enterprise Chief Operations and Technology Officer at Regions Bank. She and her teams oversee all aspects of application architecture, development, corporate computing, information security and technology governance in Regions. Her strategy and vision are the driving forces behind the transformation and digitalization of Regions Bank. She also leads Enterprise Operations, which includes Deposit Operations, Payment Operations, Fraud and Cash Operations, Card and ATM Operations, Loan Operations, Loan Servicing, Collections and the Contact Center.

Prior to Regions, Mrs. Duggirala served as the Executive Vice President of Global Software Development at ACI Worldwide. She was accountable for the architecture, development, and delivery of several products in the consumer and commercial payments space. She led a global product development team that transformed the banking and payment experience for several top banks and hundreds of retailers and processors across the world. For her work, Payment Source recognized her as one of Top 25 Influential Women in Payments in 2016. She was honored in 2019 by This is Alabama with the Women Who Shape the State Award.

Mrs. Duggirala holds a Master of Science from Columbia University in New York with a specialization in Business and Digital Transformation, an MBA from the University of Omaha, an Electronics and Communications degree from Osmania University and a certification in Advanced Project Management from Stanford University. She serves on the board of directors for TechBridge, a technology nonprofit organization serving underprivileged communities. Mrs. Duggirala enjoys reading and traveling in her free time. She is happily married with a daughter, currently a senior at Duke University.
