In 2005, Frank Sorrentino, a New Jersey-based homebuilder searching for a bank that understood the needs of a small business ran with a bold idea –to build a full-service bank that put people at its core.

Since its founding, ConnectOne Bank has grown across the New Jersey and New York markets with over $7 billion in assets and 30 locations. Under Frank’s leadership, the company rebranded, completed the first bank IPO since the great recession, and completed a series of mergers & acquisitions, propelling the company to become one of the largest banks headquartered in the state of New Jersey. Most recently, Sorrentino led the acquisition of BoeFly, a FinTech company that operates a business lending marketplace connected specializes in connecting franchisors and small business owners with enders and professional loan brokers across the US. Today, ConnectOne continues to make investments in technology, building a digital foundation to grow its people first model into new markets.
