Hubert J.P. Jolly
Managing Director, Head of Financing & Channels, Bank of America Merrill Lynch

Hubert Jean-Pierre Jolly is the global head of Financing and Channels in Global Transaction Services (GTS) at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In this role, Jolly is responsible for the working capital solutions provided by the bank’s award-winning Global Trade and Supply Chain Finance, and Global Card and Comprehensive Payables teams. Additionally, he oversees the GTS Innovation team that is responsible for identifying and investing in emerging technologies and payments solutions, and the Digital Channels team that delivers the CashPro® suite of solutions, including Mobile, Connect and Online.

Prior to joining Bank of America Merrill Lynch in June 2017, Jolly served as the Global Head of Channel & Enterprise Services for Citi Treasury and Trade Solutions. In this role J.P. was responsible for Citi’s award-winning cash management and trade services platforms across 96 countries including CitiConnect® (Swift, File and Messaging) and CitiDirect BESM, the online and mobile banking platform that during Jolly’s management received accolades from Greenwich Associates (No. 1 ranking for online banking application), Barlow Research (Monarch Innovation Award), Mobile World Congress (Best B2B App Awards) and Global Finance magazine (Digital Banking Awards).

Also while at Citi, Jolly was responsible for digital strategy, the bank’s innovation labs and the global enterprise platforms for account services, core banking, billing & statements, C.R.M. and data management. He also led the strategy and transformation of Prepaid Card Services to position the business’s exit from Citi Holdings.

Jolly held other senior positions at Citi including global head of Commercial Cards and Procure to Pay, which under his leadership saw a doubling of the number of cardholders, and the significant expansion of its global footprint and currency capabilities. He was personally involved in a range of industry firsts, including the launch of a global multi-currency virtual card platform and winning the mandate for the largest commercial card program by volume in industry history. During his 20 year career with Citi, Jolly worked in Argentina, New Zealand, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and the United States.

Jolly is a Belgian citizen. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgetown University and the London School of Economics with a Bachelor of Science in Operational Research and Finance.
