Susan Herbst-Murphy
Consumer Credit and Payments Industry Expert, Formerly with the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia

Susan Herbst-Murphy recently retired from the Payment Cards Center at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, which she joined after a career in commercial banking. During her earlier experience, she managed payment card programs, including some of the earliest network branded prepaid cards introduced to the market. While with the Federal Reserve, she published a number of papers which featured research and analysis on prepaid cards. Along with co-author, Greg Weed, of Phoenix Marketing International, she released two reports revealing that high income Millennials constitute the primary market for network branded prepaid cards.
