Lori Chillingworth

Director, Enterprise Business Banking, Zions Bancorporation
Lori is the Director of Enterprise Retail Banking for Zions Bancorporation. In this role, Lori provides leadership, direction and strategic development in support of Business Banking throughout the enterprise. She is responsible for strategic development of products, services, training, and initiatives to support the vision, goals and objectives that promote Business Banking revenue, profitability and growth in affiliate banks. She works very closely with all partners such as Corporate Credit, Corporate Services, and Learning and Development, among others in support of the Business Banking strategies.

Known throughout the industry for her leadership and experience in the small business, she was a member of the Executive Committee of the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders from 2007 to 2013. She has also participated in roundtables hosted by the SBA Administrator and Treasury Secretary and has a reputation throughout the industry as an expert in small business.

Lori has served most recently as Chief Credit Administrator for Small Business and previously as Executive Vice President of Zions Bank’s Small Business Division since June 2010; she was the founding manager of the bank’s Women’s Financial Group when it launched in 1997. In these capacities, Lori and her team have played a key role in Zions Bank’s ranking as the No. 1 SBA 7(a) lender for the past 22 consecutive years in Utah and for the past 14 consecutive years in Idaho. She was honored as the 2009 Small Business Financial Services Champion of the Year in SBA’s Region XIII. Zions Bancorporation was ranked 5th in the country for 504 loans as of FYE 9/30/15.

Lori has been recognized five times in U.S. Banker magazine’s “Most Powerful Women in Banking” issue, ranking among its “25 Women to Watch” list. She was also honored as a member of Zions’ “Top Team” of women senior leaders six times.

Lori has spent the last 25 years approving and managing small business loans including, SBA 7a loans, SBA 504 loans and conventional loans, in addition to her experience in managing loan centers. She is immediate past chairman of the Board of Governors at the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, she serves as chair of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors for the Women’s Leadership Institute which she founded. Lori was also recognized in 2015 by American Banker Magazine with the “Community Impact Award” and honored at their annual Most Powerful Women in Banking Gala event. In addition, on November 15, 2016, Lori was awarded the Athena Leadership Award by the Salt Lake Chamber.
