Liberty Donates To AACUC
MOUNDS VIEW, Minn.-Liberty has donated $5,000 to the African American Credit Union Coalition (AACUC). The presentation was conducted at the AACUC's recent national conference. Liberty's donation will help support the AACUC's three key programs: mentoring, advocacy and internships.
The AACUC's internship program makes African-American college students aware of the career opportunities that exist in the credit union movement and provides internship opportunities. The organization's mentoring strategy is currently focused on the African Development Fund, which mentors credit unions in South Africa. For info: www.aacuc.org or www.libertysite.com.
