WESTERVILLE, Ohio - (04/14/05) -- An armed gunman stole a gun form anoff-duty security guard at BMI FCU Tuesday, then threatened to killthe moonlighting cop as he put the gun to his head, before makingoff with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police later captured thegunman hidden in a hole in the wall of his bedroom after trackingthe getaway car, a Mercury Cougar with tinted windows. The bandit,wearing a fake beard and stuffing in his shirt as a disguise,disarmed the guard during a struggle, nearby two 'no-guns' signsprominently displayed in the credit union lobby. The robber,identified as Tracy Miller, was charged with assault on a peaceofficer, aggravated robbery and kidnapping and was being held inthe Franklin County jail.
