BANGOR, Me. - (01/06/06) -- A 22-year-old Augusta man wassentenced Tuesday to more than 15 years in prison for his role inan armed robbery at Maine Savings FCU in Oct. 2004. Albert Peaslee,Jr., and his two accomplices used the more than $12,000 stolen fromthe credit union to buy drugs and gamble at Foxwoods casino inConnecticut, prosecutors said. Peaslee was sentenced to eight yearsand four months in prison for the robbery and another seven yearsfor brandishing a gun at one of the tellers. His accomplices,Jeremy Jones, 27, of Gardiner, was sentenced to seven-and-a-halfyears for his part in the robbery, and Jimmy Wilson, 20, thegetaway car driver, is scheduled for sentencing on Jan.18.
