Aurum Technology Acquires Item Processor

- PLANO, Texas (07/23/01) - Aurum Technology, aspin-off of EDS serving credit unions and community banks, saidFriday it has acquired the item processing and data center businessfrom Midway National Bank, St. Paul, Minn. The business providesservices to more than 30 community financial institutions inMinnesota and Wisconsin. Under the deal, Aurum, which claims 620community financial institution clients, will move all of theunit's employees and customers to its own operations.
