BECU has been granted the SBA's top lending designation by securing Preferred Lender status. BECU is the first credit union in the state of Washington and one of only six other credit unions throughout the country to earn the designation. "Our average loan size is approximately $79,000 which is consistent with our focus on the small and micro businesses, often over-looked by the larger banks," said Arnie Gunderson, Director of Small Business Services for BECU.
